Girls Golf
Girls Golf will be resuming next Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Diablo Creek Golf Course. There have been significant changes to the program, so please make sure to visit the Girls Golf Page on our website to read about these changes and how the program will run.
Hiddenbrooke Summer Session
Unfortunately, classes at Hiddenbrooke will not be taking place this Summer. If your participant was registered for classes at Hiddenbrooke you will be contacted via email with more information.
A few reminders
Please remember that all participants and families are required to observe safety guidelines outlined in our Family Orientation. Participants and/or Families who are not observing these guidelines will not be allowed to attend.
Family OrientationPlease make sure your participant has sufficient water to last them at least 2.5 hours for classes, or 4.5 hours for camps. There are no shared or public water fountains at any of the courses.

Happy July!
Below is the weekly update for programming. Just a friendly reminder that we are posting weekly updates on the status of programming. Information is shared with all First Tee families as soon as we're able to share it, if there's no update for a particular program, it means there is no new information available at this time, but we are still working on them. Thank you for your patience!
Summer Classes at Boundary Oak and Hiddenbrooke:
Boundary Oak: Classes are scheduled to start at Boundary Oak next week, with the first classes meeting on Monday, July 6th, 2020. Families of participants registered for this location have been sent a separate email with additional information. Updated information is also now available on the "Safety & Information" page on our website.
Hiddenbrooke: We are in constant communication with management at Hiddenbrooke and are working with them on finalizing the policies and procedures for the golf course. We hope to know more details and potentially have a confirmed starting date by next Wednesday, July 8.
Girls Golf
We have made progress with the Girls Golf Program, with a tentative starting date taking place the third week in July, if not sooner. We are currently working to secure additional coaches, and confirm class/play day locations. We will publish another update as soon as more information is available.

Hello families!
It has been exciting seeing all of you return to the golf course this Summer Session. Thank you for doing your part in making sure we're all safe during classes. Below are three important reminders as programming resumes:
NO classes June 29 - July 4th
Remember there will be NO classes from Monday, June 29 through Saturday, July 4th in observance of 4th of July. Classes will resume again on Monday, July 6th.
The June 29th - July 2nd Summer Camps will take place as scheduled.
Family Orientation
Whether you are new to First Tee or a returning family, you and your participant are required to take our new Family Orientation as it covers important safety policies and procedures we are implementing. Please make sure to take this orientation prior to your first class.
Our coaches receive a check-in list, which highlights the participants who have and have not taken the orientation. If your participant has not taken the orientation, they will not be able to join class.

Other programming:
We are making progress regarding other programming at other locations and other programs (tournaments, girls golf, etc.) As soon as we are able to share details, we will notify our First Tee family (that's you!) Thank you again for your patience!
A final word!
PLEASE make sure your participant brings enough water to their class/camp. It's better that they return to you with a bottle half empty than a bottle completely empty.
For Summer Camps, we suggest bringing enough water for 4.5 hours; for regular classes, enough water for 2 hours.
Please note there is NO shared water available at any of the courses!

All Summer Camps are running on-schedule. If a change occurs that affects your particular camp, you will be notified, otherwise assume camps are taking place as scheduled.Other Programming:

As we return to normal programming, we will start transitioning back to our regular email updates through our monthly newsletter.
We are aware previous email updates have looked very similar to one another. We are taking steps to make them easy to tell apart.

Dear First Tee Family
Please see below for a new update as of Thursday, June 11, 2020
8-week Summer Session:
We have finished transferring the registrations from the Spring to the Summer Session. If you have a transfer request, please email us and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Registrations for new participants or returning participants who were not registered for the Spring Session will open Friday, June 12, 2020 at midnight.
To give additional registration time to families, we will be doing one final adjustment to the start of the Summer Session.
Classes are now scheduled to start the week of
Monday, June 22nd, 2020 and end the week of Monday, August 17, 2020.
There will be no classes the week of 4th of July.
This additional time will also give us time to hear back from some golf courses and receive the green-light to resume classes. As of today, Thursday, June 11, 2020 we have received the go-ahead from Diablo Creek Golf Course and Lone Tree Golf Course.
As we get closer to the starting date, remember to take our new Family Orientation. All participants and parents will be required to take this orientation before being allowed to join any First Tee Contra Costa programming.

Dear First Tee Family,
We hope your week is off to a great start! Please see below for a programming update8-week Spring/Summer Session:
We are currently transferring registrations from the Spring Session onto the Summer for participants who plan on joining us this season. This is a manual process for each class and registration. During this transfer, you will receive two automated emails notifying you of changes to the registration.
The first email will notify you that your participant’s registration for the Spring Session has been cancelled, while the second email will notify you that your participant has been registered for the Summer Session.
You do not need to take any action regarding these emails at this time as they are automated notifications. But please make sure that you receive these emails as well as any other email from [email protected].
While we complete the transfers between Spring and Summer we will not be processing requests to transfer between classes (to a different day/location). These request will be addressed after the re-registration process has been completed and will be subject to class space available.
As of today, Monday June 8, 2020, we are awaiting the go-ahead to resume classes from 3 golf courses and/or their managing companies. As previously mentioned, our tentative starting date is Monday, June 15, 2020; but should we need to adjust the date, we will make sure to notify you on this page as well as via email.
Once we have the go-ahead, classes will begin promptly, so please be ready. In the meantime, please make sure to review our new Family Orientation to make sure your participant(s)’ registration is completed so that they can join the class. Please note this is a required orientation. You can find the link to the orientation below.
Updated Policies and Procedures
Weekday Summer Camps:
All Summer Camps remain on-schedule. Registration for Summer Camps is open, all camps have a maximum capacity of 10 students for two coaches. Camps with one coach will be limited to 5 students unless an Assistant Coach is available.
Parent/Student Requirements:
New safety policies and guidelines are being implemented at each of our golf course locations to ensure participant and coach safety. Parents and Youth will be expected to adhere to these guidelines and policies in order to participate in classes. Failure to observe guidelines will result in dismissal from class.
